Position Overview

Supervise employees in receiving, warehousing, issuing and shipping of materials and parts. Ensure the inventory is stored accurately, orderly and securely. Ensure that the required level of internal and external customer support is provided on a 24/7 schedule to support programs in work.

• Ensure materials in the stock room are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that the stockroom is kept clean, safe and orderly.
• Revise procedures as required to meet changes in the operation and customer requirements.
• Review time and attendance reports daily.
• Ensure employees follow and are trained in safety, proper handling, processing and control of materials.
• Direct and train Leads in daily responsibilities and duties.
• Monitor the Stores training procedure, ensuring compliance with Stores policy.
• Ensure cycle counts are maintained and stock levels are monitored.
• Maintain a continual improvement process with manual variances making adjustments as required.
• Perform schedule for personnel.
• Perform reviews and explain Company policy with personnel.
• Use all assets available to accomplish smooth work flow.
• Assure personnel are treated equally and fairly in accordance with HAECO Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Administer disciplinary action to assigned personnel, as appropriate and required, in accordance with HAECO Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Correct time keeping errors for assigned personnel as required.
• Implement and monitor strategic company and department initiatives as required and directed.
• Provide coaching, counseling and guidance to assigned work groups.

What you need: (Requirements)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write and understand the English language.
• Minimum five (5) years inventory experience, preferred aviation, or have previously demonstrated ability within HAECO.
• Intermediate computer experience.
• Must be knowledgeable in the receipt, warehousing, issuing and shipping of materials.
• Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
• Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with bar coding methods of receiving, stocking and issuing materials. 
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Subject to continual loud noises.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb steps, stand and/or ladders and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• May be exposed to inclement weather.

Preferred

• Knowledge of aviation warehouse methods including hazardous material handling.
