POSITION TITLE: Material Handler – Shipping and Receiving Dock

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Logistics Supervisor

PAY STRUCTURE: Hourly

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Position is responsible for the shipping and receiving of product.

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

§ Should have good reading, writing, communication, and math skills

§ High School or GED

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Must have Forklift Experience
• Ability to get Fork lift License
• 5S Experience
• Dock Layout Experience
• Critical Thinking
• Ability to make decisions
• Reading and writing skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation
• Leadership skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Incoming receiving of raw material, components, miscellaneous shipments and returnable containers.
• Responsible for loading trucks to meet the customer’s requirements.
• Maintaining FIFO of finished goods, raw material, and components
• Other duties as assigned.
