POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Mechanic

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Engineering / Maintenance Manager

PAY STRUCTURE: $20-38/hour shift diff plus $2.50/hr perfect attendance bonus 

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Perform Maintenance functions for the plant.

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

• Should have reading, writing, communication, and math skills
• High School plus specialized course work
• Journeyman Machine Repair or minimum 5 years of experience and related course work

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Should have standard knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Should have standard knowledge of tools
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventative maintenance functions.
• Set up tooling to meet the process requirements as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform welding, cutting operations in a safe manner as needed
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic issues as needed.
• Diagnose & direct replacement of certain electrical repairs
• Other duties as assigned.

• Read hydraulic prints & electric schematics
