Hadinger Flooring is looking for an experienced Area Rug Sales Specialist to join our award-winning company. As one of the USA’s Top 50 Flooring Retailers, we know that providing the BEST service requires having the BEST employees. We stock over 8,000 rugs, and Area Rug Sales Specialists play an integral role by providing customers with guidance on size, style, color, material, and care. This fully commissioned role has NO COMMISSION CAPS. Our rotation system helps ensure customers are distributed equally amongst sales reps.

Store hours are Monday through Friday, 9-5:30PM, and Saturday 10-5PM. Mandatory weekly Saturday shifts are required, with one weekday off. We are closed on Sundays.

The ideal candidate has the following necessary qualifications:

• A minimum 3 years of high-end retail sales experience
• Shows up daily, on time, ready to provide WORLD-CLASS service
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Works well independently; follows up with customers as promised, without having to be reminded
• Strong math skills, with the ability to calculate measurements
• The ability to learn and opperate new computer software
• Is professional, friendly, cooperative, and respectful of every person, at all times
• Develops a positive working relationship with team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers as they enter the store and proactively offer assistance
• Work with customers and interior designers to find the perfect rug, by answering questions related to rugs, rug care and store policies. Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations.
• Process sales, payments, refunds, and returns, verifying accuracy
• Process special orders when placed; follow-up with the customer when the rug arrives, to arrange delivery or pick-up
• Submit delivery and fabrication requests to the appropriate department email
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized showroom by returning samples to their rightful place
