Haddonfield Plastic Surgery is a rapidly growing cosmetic and reconstructive private practice seeking a medical office receptionist for a part-time position. Candidate must have proficient computer skills, pay strong attention to detail, and accurately document data. Candidate should have a passion for providing quality healthcare and patient satisfaction. Candidate should display a positive and helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

-Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

-Coordinate referrals to and from other healthcare providers

-Accurately input data into electronic medical record

-Accurately schedule appointments for multiple providers

-Manage a multi-line phone system

-Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

-Obtain insurance authorizations

-Obtain payment for products and services rendered

-Work closely with a team and exhibit a willingness to learn / take constructive criticism

Skills/knowledge

-Well developed communication skills both verbal and written

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment

-Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer skills

-Insurance knowledge preferred
