Hackett Security is Hiring an Alarm Technician Near St. Louis, MO

Job Overview

Hackett Security is a family owned and operated national security company. For over 30 years, we have been in the business of installing and monitoring security alarms, fire alarms, door access and video surveillance systems.

We are currently seeking an alarm Service Technician to join our team-Some travel required.

Reports to:

Operations Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

The candidate we're looking for should be able to:

  • Install and perform service on CCTV, burglar, fire and access control systems.
  • Work in a leadership role.
  • Be able to work in a team environment.
  • Be able to work alone.
  • Provide training for installers when necessary
  • Be responsible for all documentation from beginning to completion of a project.
  • Report all inventory used.
  • Stock and maintain work truck
  • Must have experience in all work test equipment.
  • Be clean, neat in appearance, courteous and professional at all times.
  • Interact with salespersons, dispatchers, customers and all Hackett employees to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, DVR, power supplies and network equipment a plus.
  • Drilling, sawing and conduit skills a must.
  • Familiar with Card Access, Intercom and video surveillance equipment a plus.
  • Good knowledge of electricity and grounding practices.
  • Ability to follow and enforce company rules and policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
