The Clinical Pharmacist I is responsible for involvement in the clinical aspects of pharmaceutical patient care including interaction with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a Pharm.D. Degree.
- Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency program or 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience with a minimum of three years in clinical practice.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Advanced training in a specialty area (e.g., oncology, pediatrics, cardiology, infectious disease, etc.).
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Registered Pharmacist License.

- HUMC personnel, physicians, patients, pharmacy students, pharmaceutical vendor representatives and visitors.
Working Conditions:
- Lifts a minimum of 10 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 40 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day.
