Job Summary:

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting team and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports for both internal and external entities.
• Completes certain account reconciliations, including research and resolution of outstanding items.
• Supports or participates in special projects.
• Supervises and provides back-up coverage for the accounting staff.
• Prepares weekly reports for management.
• Assists with annual financial and insurance audits.
• Maintains various files and forms in the accounting system and other supporting systems.
• Willingly completes other duties as assigned to meet the strategic and financial objectives of Hackbarth.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A minimum of associate’s degree in accounting or applicable experience in field may be considered.
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience preferred.
• Expert use of Microsoft Excel required.
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with fiscal management software.
• Highly organized, detail oriented.
• Access to reliable transportation. If driving an automobile while on company business, must possess a valid driver’s license in your state of residence and auto insurance.

Compensation:

• $54,000.00 Annually
