The DTA Lead is responsible for coordinating and supervising DTA staff and members, while maintaining an elevated level of care and oversight of the program’s daily needs. The DTA Lead ensures that goals and objective support for members are conducted according to the Planning Team process and provides assistance for DTA members to be successful in meeting the goals as set and agreed by the Planning Team. This is a safety sensitive position.

• Maintain flow of services through the various positions in the Day Treatment Adult (DTA) by monitoring the care and safety of the members we support.
• Review performance and discipline staff, as necessary.
• Act as backup as needed for Habilitation Tech and other roles in DTA.
• Provide guidance and support for staff. 
• Provide for the safety, emotional and physical needs of all members.
• Ensure information is received and supplies are available prior to receiving a new member.
• Utilize means for furthering professional growth by attending PCSP meetings, PRC, transition fairs, and staff meetings.
• Ensure all documentation required for members’ care, including, but not limited to incident reports and daily assessments.

• Provide members with social skills to communicate effectively with others.

• Complete and submit DDD paperwork requirements in a timely manner. 
• Ensure that DTA is current with HCBS and OLCR licensing.
• Maintain DDD, HCBS, OLCR health and safety requirements. 
• Complete yearly standards and review task analysis as needed.
• Complete and submit quarterly progress notes by the 7^th of each month.
• Communicate with families and Support Coordinators as needed. 
• Oversee transportation/staff for community outings. 
• Approve time off requests from staff. 
• Complete and submit daily DTA Billing Census to Assistant Administrator.
• Assist as needed to ensure member objectives are completed.
• Develop objectives and strategies.
• Attend PCSP’s and PRC’s 
• Ensure all consents are up to date.
• Monitor ongoing training for Habilitation Technicians.
• Coordinate and evaluate Habilitation Technicians in work areas.
• Must perform duties following safety standards required for this position including, but not limited to, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s, i.e., gloves, etc.).
