Outside Salesperson
Job Summary:
Hacienda Home Centers, Inc. is looking to fill a position within our government and commercial sales team for an Outside Salesperson. The Outside Salesperson will oversee the sales of merchandise to federal, state, and local government as well as commercial customers.
Hacienda Home Centers is a New Mexico based company specializing in providing hardware, building materials, and maintenance repair and operations (MRO) products to government and commercial customers as well as the general public. Pay:
This position is a base salary plus commission and bonuses.
$65,000 -$100,000

Duties & Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
Maintains relationships with vendors to identify new products and service offerings.
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
Works with inside salespeople to ensure customer satisfaction and that internal paperwork is processed accurately.
Represents Hacienda at events such as conferences, tradeshows, chamber of commerce events, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills& Abilities:
Enthusiastic about networking and customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to travel to out of state conferences (max 4x per year).
Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff.
Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
Education and Experience:
Previous experience with outside sales required.
Work Location:
The Outside Salesperson will be expected to travel in and around Hacienda’s service areas. This will be primarily Albuquerque but also includes visits to Espanola, Los Alamos, and Las Vegas, NM, as necessary.
