The Opportunity:
Hach is seeking a full time Field Service Technician II to join our team in the Southern California area.

What Will I Be Doing?
Working 40 hours per week ( Monday to Thursday every week after completion of training, except in the case of approved overtime), you'll provide routine repair, calibration/verification, and preventative maintenance services for Hach equipment and instruments located on customer sites. The customer base for this role is anticipated to be primarily municipal (i.e., drinking and wastewater treatment facilities).
In your company-provided vehicle , with all travel expenses paid for by us, you will be traveling 60-75% of the time, supporting customers located in a 2-hour driving radius, all directions, around Phoenix. You can plan to be back at home after most shifts; however, you can expect overnight stays at company-approved hotels between 1 to 3 nights per week (on average) - employee safety is one of our topmost priorities!
What Qualifications Do I Need?

• Being mechanically and electrically inclined is a must - we especially want to hear from you if you have previous experience with Preventative Maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
• Proven ability to self-manage and take initiative; you are resilient, resourceful, and an expert at managing a busy workload with competing priorities.
• You have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

What Will Make Me Stand Out?

• Previous field service experience is desirable - we especially want to hear from you if you've worked in the water industry!
• You've completed an Associates/Technical Degree.
• You're a go-getter and "lifelong learner" who is motivated by satisfied customers and a job well done.

• No office to report to - this is a fully remote position (a.k.a. work-from-home 25-40% of the time, travel/field work 60-75% of the time).
• After completion of your initial 90-day training period, your schedule will consist of 4 shifts per week at 10-hour days - that means every weekend is a long-weekend unless in the case of overtime!

The salary range for this role is 30 USD per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
