About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Associate... In this role, you will: Research complex financial and credit information for commercial business, or high net worth customer loan packages, according to business unit standards within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area Review basic issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables Underwrite loans with aggregate credit exposure based upon approved credit authority limits Investigate credit standards and determine credit worthiness of high-net-worth loans Receive direction from supervisor and exercise independent judgement while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers Required Qualifications: Experience in Commercial Banking Portfolio Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: CPA/MBA Finance (desired) and bachelor’s degree, equivalent Min 5 years of experience in assessing credit worthiness of the borrowers based on qualitative and quantitative factors Distinguishes between critical and irrelevant pieces of information. Gathers information from a variety of sources to reach a conclusion. Working Knowledge of Credit Products life cycle specially on commercial loan products Ability to prepare internal memorandums while identifying and mitigating risk Strong knowledge of preparation and analysis of projected and proforma based financial statements Strong knowledge on GAAP Accounting / International Financial Reporting Standards Sound knowledge of ratio analysis, cash flow, and trend analysis Should have experience of Financial spreading across all the Industries Ability to read & analyze financial statements. Should be able to handle subjectivity in the financial analysis and substantiate with reasons Excellent communication skills Excellent knowledge of MS office application Should be flexible to stretch as per business requirement Able to multi-task to accomplish tasks effectively Analytic skill Attention to detail Ability to work quickly & accurately while maintaining acceptable standards of workmanship Ability to recognize and escalate to management for any process breaches Highly motivated with strong organizational Flexibility to work in different shifts Ability to succeed in a team environment Job Expectations: Role is following a hybrid set up (temporary) in which the role is required to report into the office at least twice a week Role is following a 5pm-2am shift Monday to Friday Posting End Date: 29 Mar 2024 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
