The Production Control Technician will be primarily responsible for receiving customer files, assuring that all information required to successfully CAM a job is present and that the job is inside our manufacturing matrix. They will take back customer orders from CAM when completed and check to make sure all working tools are completed (drill, rout, score, electrical test programs, Artwork for imaging, solder mask and legend) are completed. They will be responsible for completing a traveler with all the correct process steps and information necessary for manufacturing to successfully manufacture product. They will have direct interactions with Sales, Customer Service, CAM, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Process Engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Verify all incoming orders are accompanied with all related specifications. If the job files are incomplete – will interact with Sales/ Customer service to acquire missing information. Give to files when complete to CAM – Good To Go
· Take job packages back from CAM when CAM has completed and verify that the job is complete and correct – generate the traveler and release the traveler to Manufacturing.
· Identifies and organizes a location where all specifications can be located. Assist in the maintenance of a centralized departmental records management system that handles engineering records, correspondences, contracts, plan specifications
· Work with the Global organizations and other departments including Accounting; Quality; Operations
Maintain customer records to ensure the specifications are up to date
· Ensures all changes to documentation are maintained per the applicable controlling procedures.
· Creating production steps to complete each incoming jobs
· Other duties as assigned
