Most reputable Foodservice Distributor in the Middle Atlantic region for over 60 years, located in Glen Burnie, Maryland, is seeking a detailed-oriented and reliable Night Shift Order Selector to ensure customer orders are filled correctly.

Reporting to the Night-shift Warehouse Manager, the role of the Night Shift Order is to select, store, pack, and monitor the inventory of products to fill customer orders accurately. The Order Selector also ensure items are properly packaged for shipping and will arrive safely at their destination.

GENERAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

• Read customer order accurately.
• Locate and select specific item in warehouse environment in accordance with customer’s order.
• Build pallets with prepared orders and place to loading docks.
• Performing visual inspections of orders to ensure they are correct and ready for shipment.
• Applying shrink wrap to the prepared order before shipping.
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment when needed.
• Keep records of completed orders.
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized at all times.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in voice picking systems or RF devices.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment with ease.
• A forklift or machinery license preferred.
• Must be able to pass an initial drug screening and random testing.
• Available to work on weekend if needed.
• Available to work overtime as per business necessity.
• Available to work certain holidays.
