H&K Equipment, Inc is the flagship of the H&K Family of Companies which is a diversified group of established material handling dealerships that specializes in the selling, leasing, refurbishing and servicing of industrial equipment and mobile construction machinery including forklift trucks, container handlers, railcar movers, industrial floor sweepers and scrubbers, overhead cranes, yard spotter trucks.

We have 11 locations throughout Pittsburgh and New Castle, Baltimore, Eastern PA, and Syracuse, NY and we employ over 350 people.

We are actively seeking an experienced Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver to add to our team. A minimum of 3 years experience delivering heavy equipment , industrial fasteners, parts and other industrial equipment locally throughout the Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia markets.

Hours can vary depending on customer needs' day to day. Job is based out of the Pittsburgh, PA area.

JOB DUTIES CONSIST OF BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING

• Deliver, load and unload parts and equipment for customers.
• Instruct customers on equipment operation and location of O&M guide.
• Recommend equipment and related items to customers.
• Perform vehicle inspections daily, as well as checking gas, oil and other fluid levels.
• Top off and record fluid levels as necessary and grease all joints on trailers.
• Complete the necessary paperwork for vehicle inspections and turn in to supervisor daily.
• Maintain accurate, detailed delivery and pickup records.
• Assist in the shipping and receiving department when not out on delivery

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Class A CDL
• Must have clean, safe driving record
• Some experience in shipping and receiving a plus
• Oversized load experience
• Lo-Boy experience
• Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and physical exam.
• Know specifics & applications of rental equipment inventory, so you can answer questions upon delivery
• Familiar with equipment hauling and DOT requirements and regulations
• The work is typically very physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and the stamina required.
