Summary: Mix epoxy and epoxy products to meet production needs

Essential Functions

• Interpret production run for any future period and pulling material for the next day’s mix and recipes.
• Read and interpret recipes; mix epoxy and hardeners.
• Handle chemicals according to OSHA standards.
• Coordinate activities with multiple departments.
• Keep a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Take samples for quality and specification.
• Be able to calculate mix for recipe and quantities for production transfers.
• Prepare materials for shipping and prepare MSD documents and labels for transfer.
• Communicate clearly with all levels of management and work well in a team environment.
• Follow all safety requirements of an OSHA regulated manufacturing facility.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1 yearexperience in epoxy and manufacturing operations.
• High School or GED Equivalent.
• Basic Math is necessary for the performance of this job.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day.
• Must be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift.
• Must be able to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting.
