Description

Job Title: Video Specialist (Marketing)

Department: Office - Marketing

FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Location: 2252 N. Broadway

Moore, Oklahoma 73160

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm (including occasional weekends)

General Purpose: We are seeking a talented and creative Video Specialist to join our marketing team. As a Video Specialist, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and posting a variety of video content, including testimonials, community videos, social media content, and more. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your videography skills while contributing to our company's mission of creating unforgettable experiences for our clients and communities. 

Supervision Received: The Video Marketing Specialist works directly under Marketing Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Know the product and services of Home Creations Homes (e.g. value propositions, departments, floor plans, communities, home features, etc.)
  • Understand the target audiences and the intended message (e.g. Internal, public, home buyers, homeowners, Realtors, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts that align with the company's brand and objectives.
  • Plan and execute video shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and equipment setup.
  • Conduct interviews with clients, homeowners, and community members to gather testimonials and stories that highlight the unique aspects of our projects and neighborhoods.
  • Capture compelling footage of our homes, communities, and events to showcase the quality and lifestyle our brand offers.
  • Edit video footage to create engaging and impactful content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Incorporate music, graphics, and other elements to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of the videos.
  • Ensure all video content meets quality standards and is optimized for various platforms and devices.
  • Manage the post-production process, including color correction, audio mixing, and final rendering.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our video content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for maximizing the reach and engagement of our video content across various channels.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating content on company websites.
  • Assist logistics & manpower needed for specific events.
  • Attend other meetings with external service providers as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification:  

  • Bachelor's degree in film production, digital media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in videography, including shooting and editing videos for a variety of purposes.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation (to get to and from events/locations)

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Strong storytelling skills with the ability to convey complex ideas and emotions through video.

Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and impactful content.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.

Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for video content distribution.

A positive attitude and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Writing and attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials

Knowledge of graphic design process and procedures

Working knowledge of a variety of computer applications (e.g. Adobe Creative Suites – InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Microsoft Office applications and Google Drive

Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong organization skills

Ability to interact with variety of personalities

Photography and basic video editing

Nice-to-Have:

Some experience in the following: Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Google Ad words, SEO/SEM, Facebook Ads, basic HTML knowledge, WordPress, CRM, and bulk email software (e.g. Benchmark, Mail chimp)

Some experience working with a variety of inbound marketing tactics: blogging, Public Relations, SEO, social media, link building, and email outreach

Work Environment: Field and office environment with moderately quiet noise level.

Physical Demands: Occasionally required to sit and use their fingers, to handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel. Must be able to carry equipment up to 50 lbs. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Tool and Equipment: Computer (must know both Mac & PC platforms), camera equipment, telephone and general office equipment.
