Summary: Coordinates all aspects of the shipping and receiving process, with a focus on contract manufacturing business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Inspect and keep records on all incoming shipments. Includes verifying items and quantities, receiving products into the system, proper labeling and proper warehouse locations.
• Working with Quality Department to ensure all materials are QC released before received into our ERP System.
• Notifying Purchasing or Customer Service of any inbound material discrepancies or issues.
• Prepare all outgoing shipments to specifications. Includes identifying customer orders via open order reports, packing of boxes wrapping of pallets, label verification as well as proper labeling of pallets.
• Reviewing or preparing paperwork for outgoing shipments including packing slips, COA’s and BOL’s.
• Operating lift trucks or using hand jacks to load and unload materials, move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Directs Assistants in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibility

Education and/or Experience: This position requires 2 years’ experience in a business-related field. College degree preferred but not required.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general office correspondence. Ability to write business correspondence and respond appropriately to questions from managers and employees. Ability to speak and present ideas both orally and in writing.

Mathematical Skills: Strong aptitude in dealing with figures and amounts related to the analysis of sales data and cost analysis.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to analyze data, procedures and processes.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to manipulate databases. Deep understanding of various Microsoft products.
