Duties and Responsibilities:
Professionally represent H.A. Dorsten, Inc. and effectively support company strategic initiatives
Possesses detailed knowledge relating to building codes, project budget management, construction practices, project scheduling, and logistics
Review, interpret and analyze project documents which may include: construction drawings, specifications, and addenda
Manage the permit and inspection process and all building code compliance and manage jobsite cleanliness and security
Participate in schedule creation and updating with project staff and coordination meetings with subcontractors, and vendors for material, equipment, and labor needs
Plan upcoming work to ensure each crew member has all of the materials, tools, and equipment to complete the work
Maintain accurate timekeeping for the project crew
Coordinate and work closely with the project manager
Be aware of potential issues and preempting problems; discuss with the project team
Ensure accurate daily reports and critical information is documented and completed regularly and timely
Receive and inspect materials; record the conditions of shipments with valid delivery tickets
Participate in OAC meetings and foster positive long-term relationships with owners, subcontractors and vendors
Perform regularly in outside weather conditions
Competent operating large pieces of construction equipment
Suggest new processes that will help bring additional efficiencies to the flow of project success
Strong background in OSHA regulations and safety protocols within the construction industry
Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and supervising construction projects
Proven track record in budgeting and financial management within commercial construction projects
Familiarity with ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry with 5 of those years in a leadership role
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Valid driver's license with a clean record
OSHA 10-hour required/OSHA 30-Hour preferred but not required
