Gwinnett County is Hiring a SEASONAL MEAL COMPLIANCE PROGRAM LEADER-PT Near Lawrenceville, GA

Class Summary

The Meal Compliance Program Leader will be responsible for compliance with the Summer Meals Program. They will also supervise Meal Program Assistants, Volunteers, and Interns. They will serve meals, inventory meals and supplies, set up and break down tables and chairs, provide supervision of patrons during meal service, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility. They will be responsible for reporting attendance and other problems to the program sponsor, maintain compliance with civil rights laws and regulations, attend training sessions.
The position is seasonal requiring 30 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 16 years old
  • General laborer experience, customer service, food service and/or janitorial maintenance preferred.
  • The season will run from May 28th through August 2nd.
    • Monday - Friday, 5-6 hours daily (between the hours of 9am & 2pm),
  • Must be able to work 20 to 30 hours per week, to including the following:
    • May 21st (evening orientation/training),
    • June 19th -Holiday
    • July 4th-Holiday
  • Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Physical requirements:
  • Stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
