GWCCA is Hiring a WORK CONTROL COORDINATOR Near Atlanta, GA

The GWCCA is currently seeking a Work Control Coordinator to join our facility management group. This frontline contributor is integral in the coordination and data input of the facility maintenance work order system (CMMS) to effectively manage the Authority’s Incident Management System (IMS). The Work Control Coordinator is primarily responsible for receiving, logging, tracking, prioritizing and dispatching work orders in a timely manner; generating reports and cost work orders and other reports as required. This position will also conduct facility inspections to verify work order accuracy.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum high school education or general education degree (GED). Two (2) year Degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • Associate degree from a two (2) year College or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a related job or comparable position.
  • Experience with a commercial facility that demonstrates operational and project planning knowledge a plus.

  • Ability to use office software to create, format and edit documents and presentations
  • Ability to clearly understand and identify the customer in all business related interactions both internally and externally

  • Must consistently provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & to manage workload using own initiative
  • Ability to multi-task & work under pressure with limited resources

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, log, verify, and dispatch maintenance work orders as received.
  • Prioritize and dispatch work orders.
  • Generate reports and charts as required that reflect work order age, costs and status, as well as other reports required by management.
  • Provide backup assistance for the duties of the Campus Operations Hotline.
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings.
  • Conduct periodic building inspections to generate and verify accuracy of work orders.
  • Collect data and compile reports pertaining to work orders and hotline.
  • Organize and file records as needed.
  • Maintain productivity in accordance with departmental standards, ensure maximum efficiency is realized.
  • Position requires an irregular work schedule, and the performance of work assignments that may not be directly related to job specifications.
  • Maintain a professional image that represents the philosophy of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority with emphasis on providing to exhibitors and clients with the highest level of customer service deemed possible.
  • Such other duties, functions, special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Facility Management and leadership group.
