About the Role

The Company, a leading manufacturer of power transmission and fluid power solutions for various industries, is in search of a Vice President / General Manager for its North American Power Transmission business. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring operational excellence across five regional manufacturing facilities, with full P&L responsibility. This key leadership role involves developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with the company's vision for growth and profitability, leading a cross-functional team to drive new product development and market growth, and managing the financial performance of a sizable and growing regional business.Strategic leadership is at the core of this position, as the VP/GM will be responsible for fostering collaboration, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a deep understanding of the North American power transmission markets and product offerings. The role also includes leading all operational aspects of the manufacturing facilities, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering strong customer relationships to ensure the delivery of innovative products and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, be adept at market analysis, and have the ability to identify and manage risks effectively. Additionally, the VP/GM will be expected to recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
