Essential Job Functions

1. Technical Lead on configurations, customizations, support, and integrations for the Dynamics AX ERP system. Works with the business to schedule downtimes, outages, etc.
2. Provide consulting to IT Leadership and application owners with respect to AX functionality, automation of processes, and improvements to current application usage.
3. Continually work with the business to maintain healthy cross-functional relationships.
4. Minimally travel (1-5%).
5. Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

1. 2 - 4 years proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
2. Proven experience troubleshooting, supporting, and developing solutions for business processes.
3. Understanding of application integrations (e.g. on-premises, and/or cloud applications).
4. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server – queries, and basic database design.
5. Problem solving, troubleshooting, multi-tasking, quality focus.
6. Above average technical knowledge and abilities with ability to communicate with all levels of end users.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and adhere to/update project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language / Communication Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Mathematical Skills – Basic math skills required.

Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

Preferred experience

1. Experience with a variety of business applications (ERP, EAM, EDI, data imports).
2. Experience within a 24x5/24x7 manufacturing environment
3. Software developer-like mindset. Ability to think through issues and problems quickly and logically.
4. People oriented with excellent communications skills. Must have a can-do attitude with minimum supervision.
5. Not afraid of new challenges – willingness to learn.
6. Ability to pace workload to ensure job is completed as needed.
