Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Host(ess), a typical day might include the following:

As guests are arriving in our venues you are greeting them with a welcoming smile and are able to provide them with fast, friendly service
Assigning and escorting guests to their tables
Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervene when needed according to all necessary guidelines
Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group Restaurants and Venues in a positive and professional manner
Working well with others as you will be working with servers, bartenders, bar backs, and management
Remembering guest’s names and utilize them when appropriate
Building guest loyalty
Maintaining a clean and stocked work area
Other duties to be assigned

Skills/Qualifications

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:

You have at least 1 year previous hosting experience in a fast paced bar/restaurant
You present a neat and professional appearance
You are able to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers
You are able to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
You are able to accurately count money and provide necessary change
