General Summary
Job Title: Financial Analyst
Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports To: Finance Manager
Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid. Every Wednesday in-office subject to change)
Classification: Exempt/ Full-Time

General Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to facilitate key business decisions. Analysis will include, but is not limited to, tracking, reporting, and evaluating front end performance, breakeven analysis of campaigns, and month end P&Ls. This role will also partner with various departments to identify initiatives to improve processes and financial performance.
Qualifications
- Education - BA/BS in Finance or Marketing preferred
- 1-3 years experience in reporting & analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of the accounting cycle and the flow of information through the financial statements
- Interest in direct to consumer marketing and analyzing consumer behavior
- Close attention to detail in reviewing work for accuracy and thoroughness with excellent follow-through abilities
- Ability to digest larqe quantities of data and present financial analyses and concepts to varied audiences in a concise manner
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills for multi-tasking to meet deliverable deadlines
- Experience with COGNOS (Business Intelligence), Google Analytics, and various other digital platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Amazon, etc). SQL experience is a plus
- Club/subscription/membership business model experience is a plus

Environmental, Psychological and Physiological Requirements:
Currently on a hybrid weekly work schedule. During office days, work will be performed inside a multi-story office building with elevators and stairs.
The person must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery and conference rooms.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine, printer and calculator
Frequently communicates with employees who have inquiries
Ability to learn technical material and apply the knowledge to their work

Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial statements and reporting
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for acquisition and retention offers, media spend, and cost efficiencies
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing performance of the overall company and various business segments and distribution channels
- Design, conduct, and facilitate quantitative analyses to supporting strategic and financial decisions
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing program and strategies to help identify and improve the financial performance of tests and campaigns.
