About the Role

The Company, a leading provider of cloud-based legal practice management software, is seeking a VP of Product Design to join their dynamic team. Design is at the core of the company's mission to transform the legal experience and improve access to justice. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in creating innovative and intuitive designs, scaling existing products, and launching new ones. As a member of the senior leadership team, the VP of Product Design will be responsible for the development and execution of the visual and user experience strategy, driving product success and growth.Key responsibilities for this role include providing design and research leadership, overseeing user-centric design processes, and optimizing design strategies to align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in product design leadership at a high-tech or SaaS software company, a deep understanding of design principles and industry trends, and a history of building and coaching high-performing teams. A data-driven mindset, the ability to influence cross-functionally, and a strong awareness of technology trends are essential. Experience in the legaltech space is a significant bonus. The role demands a strategic thinker who can also execute at a tactical level and is adept at balancing creative thinking with pragmatic decision-making.
