Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they are looking for
- Provide product knowledge and information to customers
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process customer returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Restock merchandise as needed
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems effectively
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Experience:
- Firearms and hunting experience is preferred
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
