Temporary/Perm – Travel LPN – Long Term Care

Department – Nursing, Long Term Care

Compensation - GVH hourly rate bi-weekly bonus lodging/travel/meal expenses

Shift – Must be willing to work any shift, Day/Night/Swing. Must also be willing to work Holidays.

Assignment Length – 13 weeks with the opportunity for extension

Requirements:

To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:

• Education – Must possess a nursing degree and a current LPN license from the State of Colorado (or a compact state)
• License/Certification: Current LPN license in the State of Colorado or a compact state
• Experience – 2 years experience in a skilled nursing facility required. IV certification, and current BLS

**To be considered for the travel nursing role, you must not be a GVH employee or live within 100 miles of Gunnison, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

As a Life Enriching Caregiver (C.N.A.), you will play a crucial role in providing care to the residents of the Senior Care Center with the established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the supervisor. In addition, to provide various activities for the resident in order to sustain a positive quality of life.

Compensation: $24.12 - $33.77 DOE (bi-weekly bonus and lodging/meal/car reimbursement added to overall compensation)

Physical Requirements

Occasionally (0-33%) – Standing, sitting, change position, reach, reach across midline, crouching/squatting, stairs, lifting (0-50 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (20 - 50 lbs)

Frequently (34 – 66%) – Walking, handling, fingering, stooping

Continuously (37 -100%) See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance

Shift - Night

Schedule - Three 12-hour shifts

Work Environment

As a health care organization, we operate 24/7, 365 days per year. Candidates should be available to work a variety of shifts (days shift and night shift), weekends, and holidays. This position is full-time, with 12 hour shifts. This position can be fast paced at times, and slow paced at times, and candidates should be able to perform in both scenarios.
