GUNDERSON CLEANERS is Hiring a Delivery Route Driver Near Stevens, WI

Route Drivers play an important part in giving our customers excellent service that makes us successful. You will transport garments within our delivery areas to and from our customers’ homes and businesses, assist with in the store that processes the garments, and actively solicit new customers to grow the route.

The ideal Route Driver has an outgoing personality, professional appearance, a positive demeanor and a high attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities for Route Driver:

  • Achieve and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Retain current customers by phone or face to face contact utilizing the lost customer list
  • Use courteous driving maneuvers; Abide by all traffic laws
  • Pick up any bags left out by customers and return them to the processing location
  • Load orders in van in order listed on manifest
  • Maintain accuracy of route customers and delivery manifest
  • Pick up and deliver orders to our customers; place orders in the designated area at their delivery location
  • Solicit and acquire new customers to grow the route utilizing company route development procedures
  • 2 hours per week devoted to Route Sales/Development to targeted areas
  • Handle customers’ inquiries and requests in person and on the phone
  • Learn and become proficient in our point of sale system
  • Monitor mechanical condition of the delivery vehicle
  • Any additional tasks assigned by management

Requirements for Route Delivery Driver Include:

  • A positive, customer-first attitude
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Attention to detail, accuracy
  • Flexible schedule
  • Basic computer skills
  • Quick problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience level:

  • 1 year

Shift:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • No nights
