Quality Engineer's will be responsible for analyzing processes, implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any quality issues. As a Quality Engineer you will:

  • Develops and establishes quality systems and procedures, inspection plans, quality performance trends, statistical plans, cost estimates and technical quality plans for proposals.
  • Ensures that project and/or process control documentation is compliant with requirements and/or contract.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, interpreting, analyzing and summarizing data and making recommendations. Analyzes proposed changes in methods and materials. Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
  • Identifies quality performance, trends and corrective action by coordinating with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to lead and motivate people in a team environment, balance the demands of several work areas and to coordinate closely related work of a variety of employees.
  • Devises and implements various methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, reliability and accuracy of products, processes and production equipment.
Requirements:

Required qualifications for a Quality Engineer:

  • Bachelor's Degree and Certification as a Quality Engineer, manufacturing or industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in a related engineering manufacturing or automation environment
  • A solid understanding of SolidWorks, Auto CAD and Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and Plex ERP System a plus for a Quality Engineer
  • Understanding of the firearms industry is a plus but not required
  • Quality Engineer's demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision, and communicate with coworkers, manager and other department
