We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees and resolving any hardware and software issues they may encounter. You will play a critical role in maintaining our company's IT infrastructure and ensuring that our systems are running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees on hardware and software issues, both in person and using remote access tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and internet connectivity issues
• Track, Prioritize, and Document issues via a Helpdesk ticketing system/RMM
• Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems
• Set up and maintain user accounts and email addresses
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates on computer systems to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor and respond to system alerts and error messages
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT security protocols and procedures
• Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up their workstations and providing training on IT systems
• Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures
• Interface with 3rd Party support vendors to see problem resolution through completion

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong Customer Service and communication skills
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
• Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration
• Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP and DNS
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Occasional travel (>10%) required

Education

• Associated Degree in IT related field, or 5 years’ related experience required
• Certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
• Microsoft 365 administration experience a plus
• Crystal Reports experience desired
