Welcome to Ankle & Foot Surgery, LLC! We are a podiatry practice inquiring to hire one individual as a full time Medical Assistant to join our team. We are a private practice located at Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. The following are the day to day responsibilities as a Medical Assistant:

• Arriving 30min prior to clinic start time to prep and stock the exam rooms
• Reviewing the schedule for the day to confirm any diagnostic imaging reports that are needed and pulling up images for the doctor
• Rooming the patients upon arrival and cleaning and sanitizing the rooms for the next patient
• Maintaining the back area clean for patients and doctors
• Updating medical history/medications and entering it into the patient's file along with new patient information
• Casting the patients for custom made orthotics/braces
• Taking x-rays
• Setting up procedure trays for the doctor for office procedure
• Checking on medical supplies and ordering
