Gulf Highway Equipment set out to provide construction companies & government agencies with top-of-the-line Truck Mounted Attenuators and equipment. We are looking for a hard working individual who has a good understanding of Automotive Electrical systems.

Business hours Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM (Guaranteed overtime each week)

Some duties include:

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Confers with service writers, if necessary, to determine the nature of any electrical malfunctions.
• Determines malfunction of electrical system by visual inspection and use of testing devices such as oscilloscope, voltmeter and ammeter.
• Repairs or replaces defective wiring.
• Install LED warning lights and work lights, Radios, and other device controllers
• Drives customers' vehicles to test the quality of work performed.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
