Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handy Man to join our team. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:

- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and identify any maintenance or repair needs

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing repairs

- Repair or replace broken equipment, fixtures, or appliances

- Fabricate and install shelves, cabinets, and other storage solutions

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions

- Weld or solder metal components as needed

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

- Assist with electrical repairs and installations

- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field

- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with hand tools

- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills

- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Basic electrical knowledge is preferred

- Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting logic controllers is a plus

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.02 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
