As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to drive our marketing efforts to the next level.

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, energetic, proactive, creative, and organized person who gets excited about the opportunity to build a marketing department that will be integral to our company growth and success as we scale. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator that can both strategize and execute at a high level.

As the Marketing Manager at KLC Financial, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, generate new business, and support the growth of our equipment finance business across a variety of industries and sales channels (i.e end-users, trusted partners, and vendor relationships). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our marketing initiatives align with our business objectives. 

Responsibilities

Sales Support:

  • Create integrated marketing programs for a variety of sales reps across various industries that include collateral, campaigns (email, mail, LinkedIn, etc.), sales tool kits, customer presentations, content, and training. 
  • Develop and maintain a repository of high-quality marketing collateral and turn around customize collateral by agreed upon timelines. 
  • Implement version control processes to manage collateral updates efficiently.

Strategy:

  • Create an annual marketing plan that addresses all areas needed to support company initiatives. 
  • Commitment to learning about various industries, business models, trends, and competitors to best support growth initiatives.
  • Explore new marketing ideas, initiatives, and present ideas.
  • Create positioning and messaging of value proposition and competitive advantages.
  • Balance company, sales rep, and customer needs. 
  • Create strategies for acquiring new customers, program partners, and trusted vendor partners.
  • Manage and evaluate any agency or third-party relationships.

Event Management:

  • Maintain industry association database and tradeshow/events calendar.
  • Develop and establish relationships with the proper media contacts, association contacts, outside influencers.
  • Plan and execute events to support sales and marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate logistics for and attend trade shows, conferences, and other events. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Evaluate the success of events through post-event analysis and feedback.
  • Develop strategies to maximize lead generation and brand exposure before, during, and after events.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making real-time adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop campaign assets.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Implement A/B testing and other strategies to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Assisting the sales team and company in general with building our brand, events, SEO, PR, digital marketing, social media, website, and ads.
  • Stay informed about digital marketing trends and implement best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize digital advertising campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with web development resources to ensure a user-friendly online experience.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure and improve digital marketing performance.

Systems Management:

  • Ensure seamless integration between marketing and other business systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools to enhance marketing capabilities.
  • Manage CRM systems (i.e. HubSpot and marketing related functionality of Dynamics) to support initiatives. 

Reporting, Analytics, and Tracking:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement reporting and tracking mechanisms for marketing and sales initiatives. 
  • Regularly analyze marketing campaign performance and provide actionable insights. 

Brand Management:

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Develop and enforce brand guidelines for internal and external use.
  • Monitor and respond to brand mentions and reputation management.
  • Collaborate with design teams to evolve and enhance the brand identity.
  • Implement strategies to increase brand awareness and equity in the market.

Requirements

Skills/Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university 
  • 10 years of marketing or related experience
  • Knowledge of equipment finance industry is a plus.
  • Adaptability – adapts to changes in the work environment positively. Exhibits flexibility and unbiased attitude, open to new ideas and deals effectively with high pressure situations. 
  • Dependability – meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, stays focused under pressure, and meets attendance requirements.

  • Quality – attentive to detail and accuracy, shows commitment to quality standards, makes continuous improvement, takes ownership in resolving quality problems/issues, recognizes and communicates quality problems/issues to management.
  • Communication – speaks clearly and concisely in a positive, or negative, situation. Listens and gets clarification and responds well to questions.
  • Teamwork – Balances team and individual responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, and other marketing platforms.

Essential Mental & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions. 
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
