JOB PURPOSE:

  1. To assist Commercial Account Services team in maximizing sales across Americas by qualifying inbound B2B sales leads, from various client types to establish budget, decision makers and potential record type.
  1. To provide service solutions and recommendations to a selected group of customers. 
  1. Working on select qualified leads from smaller organizations and businesses, have a full understanding Guinness World Records commercial product portfolio and then sell these solutions to key prospects and recurring customers.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contact allocated leads from the GWR CRM system (Salesforce) and confirm the quality of these leads by email or telephone. The quality will be based on the client’s budget, purpose and record type. Set allocation of leads to be contacted per day.
  • Ensure the leads are contacted against a predefined service level agreement, with a follow up system created for those leads which could not be contacted the same day.
  • Qualify and rate prospects via phone, email – with the ultimate goal of passing qualified leads to the sales team in an efficient and effective manner. 
  • Accurately maintain and update customer records on the CRM system. Ensure that records are accurately updated whenever communication with a contact is made.
  • Project manage both email and phone communication with high volume of prospects. 
  • All contact must be made in a polite, effective, and efficient manner, always working within the guidelines provided.
  • Understand Guinness World Records products and how they serve our customers’ needs- including features, benefits, and key examples of usage. 
  • Position and sell GWR product portfolio effectively.
  • Research qualified leads and clients to clearly establish needs and sales potential.
  • Work with management to improve the lead qualifying processes.
  • Liaise with select potential customers to process documentation, contracts and record information from first contact to post event account management
  • Assist department in achieving commercial department and individual sales targets.
  • Offer occasional administrative support for customers, such as processing certificate orders.
  • Assist in post-sales client communication, offering licensing extensions, certificate orders, and other add-ons. 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1-4 years of relevant customer service/sales experience in business-to-business industry
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail. 
  • Outgoing, articulate and confident in speaking on the phone to various customer types.
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Ability to manage challenging customers while maintaining cultural sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate well across teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
  • Can-do attitude, confident and passionate about Guinness World Records brand.
  • Familiarity with CRM preferred but not required
