About the Job:
Title: Polisher
Supervisor:
Production Manager
Polisher sets up and operates conventional lathe and Dremel tools to finish parts by performing the following duties:
  • Selects abrasive material according to grain size, type of finish specified, the product is polished, or amount of metal to be removed.
  • Polishes and/or buffs pieces to blueprint and standard finish requirements.
  • Works by OSHA Safety Regulations.
  • Holds responsibility for wearing proper safety equipment in required areas.
  • Performs 1st piece inspection as required.
  • Performs preventative machine maintenance per posted work instructions.
  • Keeps work area & machine clean, neat, and safe.
  • Performs other duties as required or instructed by supervisor.
Hourly wage: Commensurate with experience.
