Supervisor: Production Manager
Polisher sets up and operates conventional lathe and Dremel tools to finish parts by performing the following duties:
- Selects abrasive material according to grain size, type of finish specified, the product is polished, or amount of metal to be removed.
- Polishes and/or buffs pieces to blueprint and standard finish requirements.
- Works by OSHA Safety Regulations.
- Holds responsibility for wearing proper safety equipment in required areas.
- Performs 1st piece inspection as required.
- Performs preventative machine maintenance per posted work instructions.
- Keeps work area & machine clean, neat, and safe.
- Performs other duties as required or instructed by supervisor.
- Overtime.
