ACT DAKOTA COUNTY CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

FLSA Status: Full-time, Salary, Exempt
FTE: 1.0
Salary Range: $70,000 - $79,000/annually

This position is responsible to model quality clinical services, guide the work of the staff team, and provide direction and leadership to a staff team. The services provided assist individuals who have serious and persistent mental illnesses and/or substance disorders live self-directed and satisfying lives by providing services directly, minimally using outside resources and diverting hospitalizations and finding alternative interventions whenever possible.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise team members to provide person-centered services.
  • Select, train, evaluate, and develop employees for optimal performance and resource allocation.
  • Lead treatment direction for clients receiving services, completing diagnostic assessments, and ensuring documentation meets requirements.
  • Coordinate team meetings to ensure client needs are met and information is communicated effectively.
  • Ensure individual records are maintained for all services for easy access to information, determine service results, and meet record-keeping standards.
  • Manage referrals, intakes, and transfers for the team.
  • Communicate and collaborate with external providers and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
  • Empower employees to fulfill the agency’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and has 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illnesses.
  • Licensed as a Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT or LPCC) in the state of Minnesota.
  • One-year supervisory work experience in psychosocial rehabilitation setting is also desirable.

Preferred

  • Experience in using the concepts and methods of IDDT, and treatment of CD issues.
  • Strong engagement and assessment skills required.
  • Experience providing services to children and adolescents.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be ambulatory and able to negotiate stairways.
  • A valid Class ‘D’ Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, satisfactory driving record and necessary insurance.
  • Must not be actively receiving services from Guild Incorporated and cannot have received services within the last two years.
