Established commercial law firm is now accepting applications for a qualified legal assistant/paralegal, paralegal certificate preferred. Experience in commercial litigation, corporate law, and general business litigation is also preferred. We are looking for a candidate who is punctual, friendly, professional, extremely organized, detail oriented with the ability to work independently or in a team environment, multi-task, and summarize and organize large volumes of documents in a timely manner. Duties include assisting multiple attorneys in e-filings, client communications, discovery, scheduling (depositions, travel, and experts), calendaring, conflict checks, file maintenance, phone duties, awareness of time limits regarding motions and discovery process, and assistance in all aspects of litigation process.

Job requires proficiency in all Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with WordPerfect, Drop Box, eFlex, Wiznet CM/ECF, Pacer.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
