Guiding Path Enrichment Center is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic tutor to provide academic support to K-12 students. The tutor will work closely with students to identify areas where they need assistance and develop personalized learning plans to help them achieve academic success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide academic support in a variety of subjects, including math, science, ELA/reading, social studies, and study skills at a designated RCSS school site.
• Develop personalized learning plans for each student based on their individual needs and learning styles
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic success
• Communicate regularly with parents and teachers to provide updates on student progress and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and tutor sessions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• Previous experience working as a tutor or teacher
• Availability from Monday-Friday (2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.)
• Strong knowledge of elementary and/or middle school curriculum/standards and teaching methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
