Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner specializing in holistic psychiatry to join our remote team. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients using a holistic approach. You will work closely with patients to address their mental health needs, incorporating various holistic modalities alongside traditional psychiatric practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and evaluations through telehealth platforms.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on holistic principles, including lifestyle modifications, nutritional guidance, mindfulness practices, and complementary therapies.
3. Prescribe appropriate medications when necessary, taking into account holistic principles and potential side effects.
4. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, incorporating feedback and integrating new holistic techniques.
5. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding holistic approaches to mental health and wellness.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, counselors, and holistic practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using our designated system.
8. Participate in regular team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in holistic psychiatry.

Requirements:

1. Current Nurse Practitioner license in California.
2. Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on holistic approaches.
4. Proficiency in telehealth platforms and comfortable conducting virtual appointments.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients remotely.
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Reliable access to a working computer and high-speed internet connection for remote work.
