Position: Director of ICU/IMC
Location: Maysville, KYMaysville is located 60 miles north of Lexington, Kentucky, approximately 50 miles east of Cincinnati, Ohio, and 65 miles west of Ashland, Kentucky. Maysville proper is the county seat and is geographically positioned on the banks of the Ohio River. MRMC serves a population of more than 100,000 in the Kentucky counties of Mason, Robertson, Fleming, Lewis, and Bracken in addition to Brown and Adams counties in Ohio.

JOB SUMMARY:
Healthcare is an ever-growing field, that demands dedicated and well-trained individuals. Meadowview Regional Medical Center is now hiring a Director of ICU/IMC. The position of Director of ICU/IMC requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action while overseeing the two units: an 8-bed ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and an 8-bed IMC (Intermediate Care Unit).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
- Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
- Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Must Haves:
- Valid Kentucky RN License or Compact State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Compensation:
- Base compensation will be commensurate with the experience and skill set of the candidate.
