Guglhupf Cafe Biergarten is looking for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven service professional to join our excellent team as a dinner shift cashier. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the quick casual or fine dining food industry. This candidate should have prior experience either waiting tables, food running, preparing drinks, or running a cash register at a quick casual establishment. The best candidates will have experience in an independently owned establishments as opposed to a national chain. We cross-train our staff, so this position entails cashiering, food running, and preparing coffee and alcoholic drinks.

Responsibilities include:

• Interacting with customers: running point of sale system, taking orders, problem solving, accurate cash handling
• Extensive food knowledge and willingness to ask questions about food!
• Basic opening and closing duties to include cleaning and restocking
• Cross training into areas to include food running and drink preparation. This job does require applicant to be 21 to make cocktails and other alcoholic beverages

Part Time hours currently available, approximately 3 shifts per week. Must be available to work every Wednesday Saturday with one additional shift each week. Shifts currently start as early as 1pm and can run as late as 10pm. Hourly wage generous tips.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
