Guardians North America Glass division is currently seeking an individual to fill the new position of Warehouse Strategy Leader.

This position will ideally be based at the North American Division headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, but can also be based at any of our North American facilities : Kingsburg, CA;

Richburg, SC; Geneva, NY; Corsicana, TX . This is a key position reporting directly to the Global Process Director of Warehouse & Logistics.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Cooperate with the Warehouse teams to understand our expectations for compliance program and the code of conduct aligned with the MBM Culture
• Promote a safe environment across the warehouses, ensuring that all WH teams are aware of the safety best practices. Promote and develop new ideas to improve safety within the warehouse
• Build strong relationships with internal customers to understand their needs in terms of quality, service, cost improvement and new specific projects.

Assist the Supply Chain Teams in achieving regional objectives, driving change and innovation

Support WGS Single Instance Order to Fulfillment Process Improvement initiatives as Subject Matter Expert from the Warehouse Stream.

Support Warehouse teams with issues and enhancements

• Develop WMS platform for the regions and applicable globally
• Definition, measurement, and follow-up improvement plans for the Key Performance Indicators in the WH operations :
• OTIF
• Unhealthy inventory
• WH losses
• Ton per operator
• Develop and improve a capability with the different WH teams around loading procedures, systems and packaging, always focus in safety, efficiency and cost saving opportunities
• Develop Guardian WH in automatic handling glass systems and most efficient loading methods
• Streamline and standardization of Warehouse Operations by using best technologies, control tools and methodologies across the region.

Generating a final and regionally applicable SOP of the full glass flow chain

• Standardization of packaging and promote the reduction of packaging usage and documentation across the region
• Travel : 25%

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements :

3 years experience in Warehouse Management

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products
