The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable in confided spaces. Prior background in construction, landscaping, surveying, utility works, or working outside with hand tools, is a plus!

Position : Field Technician Assistant

Pay Rate : $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Overtime possible but not demanded

Shift : 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm

Requirements :

• Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Check.
• Must Pass Acceptable MVR.

Work location : Greater Cincinnati area, Hamilton County. There may be opportunities to provide support to other offices which would include paid travel and expenses.

Overall Purpose of the Position / Function :

• Performs outdoor fieldwork in all weather conditions, within streets, easements, and off-road. Will be required to perform confined space entry into utility and sewer manholes
• Must pass company physical and be physically capable of lifting heavy (50 pounds) objects
• Responsible for operating and maintaining all ADS-issued equipment and vehicles associated with the above product lines
• Computer use will be required
• Maintain accurate, legible organized records in accordance with all ADS Operations Quality Work Instructions
• Maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure safety, mechanically soundness, and productive operation
• Adhere to all safety procedures and ADS policies / procedures

Prerequisites :

• H.S. Education
• Valid driver’s license

Skills :

• Good mechanical skills
• Skill with basic hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Manual dexterity and willingness to work outdoors
• Physical and cognitive ability necessary to do confined space entry
• Basic knowledge of electronics helpful
• Must be able to function in a team environment and be capable of achieving daily productivity targets
• Must be willing to work in the physical conditions present in a sewer
