Facilities Maintenance Technician / HandymanJob Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and control systems and related components
• Repair and maintain a variety of facilities systems, components and structures not requiring a license
• Perform light painting, carpentry and minor repairs

• Identify building issues and provide recommendations to the building or facilities manager when needed
• Maintain a broad working knowledge of materials, systems and code requirements related to maintenance of facilities and building codes in Hawaii
• Respond to emergencies and ensure facilities are protected and remain operational
• Maintain appropriate records and reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a neat appearance
• Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance, construction, or repair experience in a commercial or industrial setting
• Must be able to work independently
• May be required a driver’s license (based on assignment availability)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
