Our Guardian Glass facility in Carleton, MI , is hiring a Reliability Operator.

Our Team

Our Reliability Operators are instrumental in plant equipment operation and reliability. We work collaboratively, are detail-oriented and safety-focused. Our Reliability Operators generally work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and get paid breaks . Overtime is required based on business demand, and you may be asked to work weekends, off-shifts, and/or holidays in this role. For this role, we anticipate paying $22 per hour (pay will be commensurate with experience).

What You Will Do

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Utilize predictive maintenance techniques to identify potential issues before they lead to downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with industrial equipment, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and maintenance to improve equipment reliability and uptime
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs
• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs
• Manual packaging of glass

• Experience working in an industrial environment
• Experience completing preventative maintenance on industrial machinery
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting

• Electrical troubleshooting experience

For this role, we anticipate paying $22 per hour. Additionally, there will be a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 30 days.
