The Endpoint Support Technician will oversee and manage all endpoint devices including but not limited to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, & thin clients. This individual will provide input for all projects that involve software distribution, anti-virus, MDR, and workstation imaging. This role also includes overseeing patch management for the different operating systems and third party applications and firmware updates along with testing of existing and new operating systems for compatibility with various software applications the bank uses.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills and work well in a fast-paced, growing environment. The candidate must be able to support and maintain systems in an enterprise environment. This individual will be someone who can take direction from senior management, but also seek opportunities to improve and stabilize the environment, and implement efficiencies in daily processes. The candidate will work closely with the Cybersecurity Analyst and Systems Analyst on various investigations, remediations, and projects.
Candidate must stay informed of latest security threats that may impact endpoint devices and develop a plan to remediate and neutralize the threat by either deploying released patches, or scripting patches to mitigate any threats.
