Here’s what you’ll do:
- Commercial installation and repair of metal roofing systems, wall panels, and custom sheet metal work.
- Understand and comply with OSHA safety guidelines.
- Safely set up ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection as required. Adhering to safety rules of the company and current jobsite protocols per general contractor.
- Read and understand blueprints. (Not a requirement for employment)
- Communicate in a professional manner with fellow employees as well as other contractors.
- Load necessary equipment and materials and securely transport to job site.
- Maintain project site by keeping area free of debris and trash.
- Measure, cut, fit, and trim 22-24ga metal. Achieving a water-tight seal and aesthetically appealing finished product.
- Install roof edge materials, standing seam metal roofing and various wall panels and siding.
Requirements for the position
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Experience working with aviation snips, hand seamers and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately and basic math skills.
- Ability to carry out instructions communicated in writing, orally, or in diagram form.
- Maintaining a high level of detail-oriented quality of work.
- Excellent time management skills.
