We have an immediate opening for a Warranty Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing warranty claims for our products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. Requirements

  • Process warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor.
  • Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
  • Verify criteria required by factory or distributor.
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and related documentation.
  • Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
  • Posts credits on computer.
  • Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
  • Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
  • Tracks warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date or replacement, and date on which part may be disposed.
  • Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor, or to be scrapped.
  • File and maintain all service records as required by the warrantor.
  • Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
  • Assist with body shop warranty claims as needed.
  • Provides optimal customer service and efficiently reviews and processes warranty claims for parts and labor.
  • Ensures claim legitimacy and adherence to warranty policy and procedures.
  • Tracks warranty claims through completion for more prompt and consistent resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in Warranty Administration or related field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
